Dear friends!
I am sincerely glad to welcome the participants and guests of the Forum! Today, modern universities face the most difficult tasks in the context of global competition. For the sixth time, Altai State University is hosting a large international educational forum “Altai–Asia: The Eurasian Educational Space — New Challenges and best Practices”, which aims to create a platform for constructive dialogue between universities, business industries and authorities, studying best practices and jointly finding solutions to pressing problems.
Over the years, the Forum has gained credibility and recognition in expert circles, and has become a solid foundation for friendly relations in the international academic environment. Taking into account the 12-year history and tradition, the Forum is a base platform for the exchange of experience, projects and ready–made tools in the educational field aimed at jointly building the potential of universities, expanding multilateral ties in the Eurasian region, and the Association of Asian Universities is an educational “hub” in the Central Asian region.
The directions of the Forum’s work in 2024 correspond to the main challenges to the university community. During the three days of the Forum, strategic sessions and program events will become a business and communication platform for sharing successful experiences, discussing issues of increasing the competitiveness of universities in strategically important geopolitical spaces, forming a friendly international academic space, developing an environment for generating new knowledge, innovations, cultural and human capital through the creation of an ecosystem of partnerships in the CIS and BRICS countries, effective acceleration of teams and ideas,  digital didactics and pedagogy of solidarity and care in an indirect digital technological environment, creating conditions for human-centered learning throughout life, and the formation of a digital elite.
I wish the Forum participants constructive and fruitful work, interesting discussions, establishment of strong partnerships and, of course, vivid impressions from their stay in Altai!
